Police are stepping up their search for a Bradford man who disappeared during a Christmas party.

Officers from Toller Lane are joining forces with the British Transport Police and West Yorkshire underwater search unit in the hunt for Michael Allison.

The 32-year-old storeman has been missing from his home in St Paul's Road, Manningham, for three weeks.

The last reported sighting of him was during a night out with colleagues from Pace Micro Technology at the Noble Comb Pub, Shipley.

Detective Sergeant Paul Harrison, of Toller Lane Police, said: "We're putting up 100 posters in the area appealing for information, and the search is being extended along the railway line and Leeds-Liverpool Canal.

"A team of officers will also be searching derelict buildings and storage areas used by businesses in the Manningham, Frizinghall and Shipley areas."

The last reported sighting of Mr Allison was at the back door of the Noble Comb at 8.30pm on Friday, December 22. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toller Lane Police on Bradford 376259.
