Bradford Bulls sold £20,000 worth of season tickets on the final day of their discount scheme yesterday.

Sales at the special rates ended at 7pm and the Bulls reported a late dash from fans.

Media manager Stuart Duffy said: "The ticket office was very busy yesterday and overall we have been delighted with the response to the switch to Valley Parade.

"Season tickets will now increase to the normal rate but we would point out that they still represent excellent savings on matchday prices."

The £28 junior ticket for the Carlsberg Stand and new North West corner stand, which allows access to all the clubs Super League games - home and away - will remain on sale. A junior ticket for the Ciba Stand costs £44.

The Bulls are also offering a discount scheme for school and clubs whereby they will receive £5 cashback for every junior ticket sold. More details on the scheme are available from the Bulls' Community team on 08701-202080.
