Skipton-based hire and rental company SHC has scored a first after becoming one of only 15 companies in the country to receive the prestigious Safe-HIRE quality mark.
The family firm which employs 26 staff at its HQ in Skipton and has depots at Ilkley and Ripon had to undergo a rigorous inspection. These checks included ensuring compliance under health and safety law, consumer protection and environmental protection law.
