There was a gift of a little plot of land on Mount Zion for the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Coun. Mrs Doris Birdsall, when she attended a charity event at the Men's Shalom Lodge of B'nai B'rith. To honour the Lord Mayor the Lodge purchased for her a square cubit of land in the B'nai B'rith garden on Mount Zion, and a certificate recording that fact was present to her.

Bradford (Park Avenue) directors have been presented with a problem over their allocation of stand tickets for the 'derby' against Bradford City at Valley Parade on Saturday week. Their quota was 150 tickets, 50 to directors, players and staff, 50 to the Supporters Club and 50 to season ticket holders.
