A man who punched a police officer during a disturbance has been ordered to pay £75 compensation.
Bradford magistrates heard that the officer was punched on the side of the head as he tried to break up a fight involving Jason Woodhouse and three other men in Great Horton Road last month. Woodhouse, 21, of Heaton Drive, Eldwick, Bingley, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour and assaulting a police officer.
He was also ordered to do 60 hours community service and pay £50 costs.
