Ermin Siljak wants the chance to keep Bradford City in the Premiership.

Bantams boss Jim Jefferies plans to talk with the Slovenian's agent over the weekend to discuss a possible loan move.

And Siljak, pictured, who is out of contract at Swiss club Servette at the end of the season, said: "I really want to play for Bradford.

"From what I've seen of the team this week I've been impressed.

"I'm certainly not put off by the club's position at the bottom.

"They have to keep going until the end of the season. Anything in football is possible.

"But I want to help them and I believe I can score goals for them to possibly help the team to stay in the Premiership.

"I hope I've impressed the manager but it's been difficult to show what I can do because the weather has led to problems with training."

Jefferies said: "Ideally I want him in for enough games between now and the end of the season to see if he's going to be part of my plans.

"I want to take it that stage further before we commit him to a lengthy contract.

"He has good movement, has got goals wherever he has played and holds the ball up well."

Siljak could join up with the Bantams in time to travel with the first team to Vale do Lobo in the Algarve next week for warm weather training.

He could then face West Ham at Valley Parade in a fortnight.

Jefferies said: "It all depends how long a work permit takes."
