Andy Holden scored to keep the Cobbydale side in the match with a 1-1 scoreline at the break. Two second half goals from Ryan Hook secured victory with Dave Hannham marshalling his defence superbly to snuff out any chance of a fight back.

A much changed Steeton second team pulled off a hard fought 3-2 victory over Eastmoor who had only lost once all season.

After a goalless first half Eastmoor took the lead early in the second half. Manager Steve Narey's substitutions led to three goals in a nine-minute spell. The first saw new boy Simon Perryman produce a classic finish. He added a second and was backed by Andy Marklew.

A late goal for Eastmoor could not prevent the Summerhill Lane side from hanging on for an important victory. Carl Hartas was man of the match.

Shamrocks Reserves fought back after going 1-0 down to Hunsworth Reserves in the first five minutes of their game. Bobby Brown equalised with a superb header and they were rewarded again when top scorer Lee Rhodes rammed home the deciding goal.

Hunsworth fought back by the Shammies defence kept its composure while the midfield and attack worked tirelessly. The win puts Shamrocks hot on the heels of top club Steeton with three games in hand.
