Bradford Bulls fans will not be able to buy any of the club's merchandise at Valley Parade tomorrow.

Bradford City say that they would like to sell rugby league replica shirts and souvenirs from their Upfront store while the Bulls share their ground.

But a Bulls spokesman said: "Our retail operator VI has so far been unable to secure a suitable agreement for selling our merchandise from the superstore at Valley Parade."

It means that any supporters wanting to purchase items will have to visit the Bulls shop at Odsal or Morrisons at Girlington.

City chairman Geoffrey Rich-mond claimed: "It's an area of major disappointment to us and it sends out the wrong message that we don't want to recognise and promote the Bulls.

"I'd like the Bulls fans to understand there's nothing we would like more than to sell their merchandise and we've repeatedly asked their kit suppliers Bloggs for permission.

"Their policy is to supply their own retail outlets. But it will appear very strange that there are going to be thousands of Bulls fans down here during the next two years and they won't be able to buy any team kit."

The Bulls shirts went on sale at the club's outlets this week but all junior sizes are not yet in stock.

"We apologise for the delay which has been caused by a fault in some designs but we will have the full range available in time for the start of Super League," said Bulls spokesman Stuart Duffy.
