A Star studded glittering charity night is being planned for the European premiere of "Blow Dry" on March 15.
Backed by the Keighley News, the evening which is expected to attract big-name cast members -- will raise money for this year's Lord Mayor's appeal.
This week it can be revealed that a hair raising fun evening for all is planned on the evening.
Details are still being confirmed, but on the evening there will be special prizes for guests who turn up with special hair-dos. In the build-up to the evening there will be a special competition for hairdressers - with judging on the night.
Keighley News editor Malcolm Hoddy says: "This is a tremendous opportunity for Keighley.
"We want the town to let its hair down on the night. It is not obligatory but we hope the audience will turn up with special hair-dos - the whackier and more colourful the better."
Stars of the movie -- which is on general release from March 30 -- include Alan Rickman and Natasha Richardson, with Warren Clarke as the Lord Mayor of Keighley.
Charles Morris, of Northern Morris Associated Cinemas, which runs The Picture House, says he is delighted with the support being shown so far.
Watch out for more details in next week's Keighley News.
