Lowly placed Wibsey produced the big shock in the Grattan Premier Division by beating Brook Crompton 5-2 after the leaders had gone 2-0 in front.

Crompton scored their goals against the run of play, but Wibsey hit back and Nicky Brooksbank and Terry Gray scored to level 2-2 by half time.

Wibsey took their chances well in the second half and Dale Wardrobe added their third goal after missing at least six chances. Brooksbank made it 4-2 and Jason Beattie scored their fifth.

Second placed Mail Coach failed to take advantage of Brook Crompton's defeat as they lost 2-1 at home to third placed Smiling Mule.

Simon Marriotte put Mule ahead after 35 minutes, but a few minutes later Mail Coach levelled through Craig Swain.

Mail Coach put Mule under a lot of pressure after the break, but Mule had the last laugh when Marriotte scored the winner with his second goal.

U Save DIY are enjoying a late surge and beat bottom club Roebuck 3-1 away. Zulfiquar Ali, Lee Stranney and Mohammed Khalid scored for U Save and Colin Webb replied for Roebuck.

East Bowling enjoyed a 6-1 win against The Royal who put up a spirited show, but were no match for their opponents. Harroon Asafaque, Talot Mammood and Gulzar all scored twice for Bowling. Darren Wilkinson scored a consolation goal for Royal.

In the First Division, second placed Baildon romped to an 11-1 home win against Station Athletic, but it was an even game in the early stages with Paul Moorhouse equalising for the visitors after Gavin Collins had put Baildon ahead.

At that stage, Station looked to be the stronger side, but they had a player sent off for dissent and Baildon immediately made the extra man tell by going 3-1 in front by half time.

Collins beat the offside trap to score his second goal and Collins was through again a minute before the interval only to be brought down in the penalty area.

That offence cost Station another player and Steve Sheriff scored from the spot.

Nine-man Station were no match in the second half as the home side scored eight goals without reply.

John Andrews scored a hat-trick in 15 minutes and then hit two more. Collins scored two in two minutes to give himself four goals and Martin Cookson added another.
