Law firm DLA has seen income at its Yorkshire offices jump by 13 per cent to £48 million.

The international company, with offices in Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield, has also seen its number of staff in the region rise by 11 per cent to 638. Spokesman Neil McLean said: "The growth in our three Yorkshire offices highlights the firm's dominance in the region.

"The success of our national and international strategies permits us to offer both Yorkshire business and inward investors an unrivalled breadth of expertise."

Overall, the group has seen income rise by 26 per cent to £175 million for the year ending April, 30, 2001.
