Parishioners at a church replanted a millennium tree that was stolen by thieves.
The ceremony took place at St Peter's Church in Kirkgate in Birstall and pupils from St Peter's C of E Junior, Infant and Nursery School helped the replanting.
The original tree was planted last summer to mark the millennium but was stolen at Easter and the new sapling has been taken from a 1,000-year-old yew tree.
The ceremony followed a service at the school to mark St Peter's Day.
