Ilkley could become a Yorkshire Aviemore, if several residents have their way. Mr Peter Willerton, who runs Environmental Leisure Enterprises Ltd, and Mr Robinson Barnett, a prominent member of the town's Civic Society, feel that if Ilkley were designated as a sport and leisure centre, the town would become one of the biggest holiday communities in the area.
