The decision to buy jubilee memento mugs for all schoolchildren in the Bradford Metro district was condemned today by the metropolitan council's Labour group. Spending anything from £24,000 to £40,000 on this was quite unjustified against a background of cuts in basic education services said Coun. Barry Seal, leader of the Labour group.
