A soldier and two other teenagers have appeared before magistrates charged in connection with an attack on an Asian-owned Bingley takeaway last summer.
Soldier Jordan Wilkinson, 19, of Preston Terrace, Crossflatts, and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are both charged with causing racially aggravated criminal damage and using racially aggravated threatening words or behaviour on August 5, 2001.
Craig Durn, 19, of Queens Road, Crossflatts, is accused of a racially aggravated public order offence. He entered a not guilty plea, via his solicitor, at a previous hearing.
Magistrates remanded all three on unconditional bail until April 29 when they are due to appear for a committal hearing.
