Lee Radford today declared his love for Valley Parade.

And the Bulls forward called on the 2,000 stay-away fans to come back to watch the team maintain their 100 per-cent record at the stadium this weekend.

Radford admits he would have no problem playing permanently at the ground which has become the Bulls temporary home while the Odsal debacle is sorted out.

But the average attendance was 2,000 lower since the move from Bradford's traditional home as some fans refused to accept the groundshare with City.

"You can generate a really good atmosphere at Valley Parade," said Radford, who is hoping for a big crowd for the home opener against the Wolves.

"The fans don't realise how much they can help us with their cheering. You can really hear it on the pitch and it spurs us on."

He said "daft little things" like opening up a Bulls section at the club shop and the name plates being changed on the dressing room door from City to Bulls made it feel like home.

He said: "Odsal was a fantastic place but there are all sorts of problems with that at the moment. I have no problem with playing at Valley Parade and I don't mind staying there.

"Crowds have fallen since we left Odsal, but there is nothing wrong with where we are playing now and the players want these fans to come back."
