Married in Montego Bay, Jamaica, were Peter Cunningham and Carole Brown.
Peter - who has just retired after 28 years as a fireman with the West Yorkshire brigade - is the second son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Cunningham, of The Shroggs, Steeton.
Carole - a nurse - is the second daughter of Mr and Mrs Herbert Sunderland, also of The Shroggs.
The bride wore an ivory three-piece trouser suit, and carried a bouquet of Jamaican roses.
