A 26-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Keighley security guard Qadir Ahmed.

Mohammed Nazim Iqbal, of Salt Street, Manningham, Bradford, appeared before Bingley magistrates on Monday and was remanded in custody for a week to appear at Bradford Crown Court.

No application was made for bail. Iqbal is the second man to be charged in connection with Mr Ahmed's death within the last two weeks.

Anjad Ali Azam, 20, of Surrey Street, Keighley, has also been accused of murder and remanded in custody to appear before Bradford Crown Court.

Mr Ahmed, 24, of Gordon Street, Keighley, was found dead, with a fractured skull and stab wounds, on the edge of the Victoria Park roundabout. It is thought up to eight men were involved in the incident.
