A YOUNG riders coaching course for cyclists is to take place at the Richard Dunn Sports Centre next weekend.
The one-day course is being held by the British Schools Cycling Association and will include clothing, equipment, road safety, training and fitness, cyclo-cross, cycle speedway, track and circuit racing.
The course is suitable for experienced and novice boys and gfirls from 7-18 years. All riders must wear a safety helmet and any without safety equipment must make arrangements to borrow or share a helmet.
The course costs £7 for the whole day. Application forms must be signed by a parent or guardian.
