Bradford Cyrenians have been given a £20,189 urban aid grant to buy and equip a house on Manningham Lane to use as a hostel for down-and-outs. They hope to move into the house this year, as their house on All Saints Road is due for demolition. They will also be getting a revenue grant to cover running costs of £5,308 for the first five years.

One of a panel of four experts, Mrs Roberts was answering a question posed by the teenage audience: "What are the things to take into consideration in choosing a life partner ?"
