Bradford Bulls competition winners were ecstatic when the three received prizes from their heroes at the team's first Super League home match of the season yesterday.

Madeline Gamble, 54, of Lidget Green, won the first prize of a pair of season tickets in a Telegraph & Argus competition after successfully answering a question about her favourite club.

"I come to most of the matches and have been a fan for many years," said Mrs Gamble, who attended yesterday's 38-12 victory over Warrrington Wolves at Valley Parade with husband, Terry.

"My daughter is 33 now and we have been taking her since she was five! My favourite player used to be Brian Noble, but is now Robbie Paul. He really keeps the team together!"

She was presented with her tickets by player Brian McDermott prior to the match.

"It is great that a life-long fan won the tickets," said Mr McDermott.

Andrew Bozhko, 26, of Birstall, and Lawrence White, nine, of Thackley, won signed shirts and free tickets to yesterday's game in the T&A's jingle competition.

They both chose Are you ready to Rumble? by Ant & Dec which was played prior to the arrival on the pitch of Lesley Vainikolo, nicknamed The Volcano. He presented them with their prizes, pictured. Mr Bozhko said: "I go to all the Bulls game and was ecstatic to win the shirt and ticket. The last time I won a competition was 15 years ago and that was in the T&A, but it was worth the wait!"

Lawrence has been following the Bulls since last season and said it was 'fantastic' to win the shirt, which his father is to frame.
