The Lord Mayor of Bradford was on hand to present trophies at a junior football tournament.
The tournament, which was organised by Cathy Liddle and Sue Hellewell of Guard House Primary School, was aimed at 'Challenging Racism through Sport'. Eight schools from Keighley and Bradford took part with Springwood School, Bradford winners and runners up St Andrew's School, Keighley.
Organisers Cathy and Sue's aim of breaking down barriers between children from different backgrounds, was reinforced by Lord Mayor Ghazanfer Khaliq.
He said: "It was an excellent tournament and an excellent idea to bring the schools together. It's not about the winning or losing but the taking part, getting to know each other and being positive.
"I think these links should be built more strongly and I would like to see events like this taking place more often."
