Forget Pop Idol, just head to Brunswick Warehouse!
The shoe retailer has hit the right note with staff in Keighley after introducing its own company song.
Originally written as a joke, the 'Brunswick chant' has become quite a hit.
Staff love it so much that it is now being sung at Brunswick Warehouses all across the UK.
The Keighley store, situated at Keighley Retail Park on Hard Ings Road, was first introduced to the chant last month. All ten staff learned the chant and are now singing it as part of their daily routine.
Nichola Strachan, store manager at Keighley, said: "All the staff love it and within minutes had learned the words and were humming the tune. It is certainly the best motivational tool we've ever had in making people feel like part of the team. I'm just waiting for the record contracts to start rolling in!"
Colin Leggatt, marketing director and co-writer, said: "The Brunswick Chant was initially written as a bit of fun for our managers' conference, but most of our staff have adopted it as a company anthem and you can hear them singing the song around the stores."
Here's a sample of how the chant goes:
We are the famous Brunswick Warehouse
We've come a long long way
From a little place in Brunswick
To all over the UK
Making a name in branded footwear
Clothing, boots and shoes
Nobody sells them cheaper than
The famous Brunswick Warehouse
We are the team that works together
We have a national quest
We wanna be the biggest
We wanna be the best
From Brunswick house in Brunswick
We're spreading all over the place
Look for the name in every town
The Famous Brunswick Warehouse
