Peace campaigners Sylvia Boyes, of Keighley, and Olivia Agate from Skipton are to face trial at York Crown Court following their alleged attempt to damage the nuclear defence base at Fylingdales in North Yorkshire.
Boyes, 58, and 60 year-old Agate, both grandmothers, are accused of possessing articles with intent to damage MOD property. They are members of the anti-nuclear weapons group Trident Ploughshares.
The charges follow their action at RAF Fylingdales on March 28 this year, when they were with a group of anti-nuclear campaigners.
They are said to have been carrying cutters, paint and other household tools.
The trial is due to take place on Monday, November 25, and the women are calling Professor Paul Rogers of Bradford University Peace Studies faculty and campaigning journalist Duncan Campbell as expert witnesses.
