Silsden slipped to an agonising derby defeat as struggling Skipton turned giant-killers in the B Division.

The Keighley Road side struggled to reach 119 as Andrew Fergie set up Skipton's victory by taking five wickets for 19 runs.

Andy Waggett top scored with 26 runs but the reply collapsed as they chased the Skipton total of 200-7.

The defeat cost Silsden dearly as they slipped down the league.

Steeton also suffered a heavy defeat in the A Division, going down by eight-wickets to Burley.

The Summerhill Lane side was dismissed for 112 and Burnley reached victory on 114-2.

Harden are still going strong, but just failed in their run-chase against Bolton Villas.

Villas set a target of 237-7 despite a five wicket haul from Martin Beattie. He then scored 41 not out and was backed up by Steve Bateman (39) but their chase fell just short on 206-9.
