Bradford Bulls are on top of the Tetley's Super League for the first time in three weeks.

The importance of Leon's Pryce's late try, which gave them victory at Leeds Rhinos on Friday, was emphasised yesterday when third-placed Wigan trounced previous leaders St Helens 48-8 at the JJB Stadium.

Bradford are now level with Saints again on 42 points, but the Bulls have a ten-point advantage on points difference with two games of the regular season to go.

"I said before the final six games that there would many twists and turns, and I still think there will be a few more yet," said Bulls coach Brian Noble.

"I was not surprised by the margin of Wigan's victory yesterday - you only have to look at how Leeds beat Hull (52-10), how Saints beat us (50-22) and how Hull beat Wigan (26-18) to know what a competitive league it is this year."

Wigan are at Valley Parade next Saturday night, while St Helens entertain Hull on Friday.

The Bulls got a couple of minor knocks last Friday, but their main doubt to face the Warriors is centre Scott Naylor, who, along with Tevita Vaikona (Achilles) missed the clash at Headingley.

"Scott's ankle is still giving him bother," admitted Noble.
