Mr Norman Collins, former BBC Television director, said at Birmingham today that the Associated Broadcasting Development Co, of which he is now a director, proposed to operate a national television network and no matter how soon licences were granted the company would be ready. He said : "I don't believe that the country has nearly so long to wait for free television as some people would appear to believe."
