Silsden RESERVES have been thrown out of the West Riding challenge Trophy competition.
Last weekend they pulled off a 5-4 victory over Cowling who put their opponents through with a late own goal.
But during the week it became clear that Silsden had fielded an ineligible player and the County FA took the decision to eliminate them from the cup.
Cowling were put back in the draw for the second round and came out with a tie against Great Preston.
County Cup holders Silsden begin their Challenge Cup campaign with a second round tie against Pinderfields Unison and Keighley Phoenix travel to Tyersal.
Steeton, who are aiming to follow up last year's Trophy win with victory in the Cup competition travel to Carlton Athletic.
Keighley Shamrocks are at home to Spring Head and Oxenhope Recreation travel to Stump Cross.
After Cowling were put back into the County Trophy competition other ties see Steeton Reserves travel to Ventus-Yeadon, Cross Hills are at home to Carlinghow Victoria.
Keighley Shamrocks Reserves are at home to Dewsbury Moor.
In the Sunday Trophy Keighley Athletic have a home tie against Horsforth Rangers while Keighley Juniors travel to Field Head.
Silsden's Sunday team are away at Markington and Boltmakers have a home tie against Buttershaw White Star.
