Keighley Ladies drew 4-4 with Farsley Celtic in their latest friendly match.

New signing Liz Abbott, who was formerly with Bradford City Reserves scored one of the Keighley goals and was backed up by two from Lauren Speight and an own goal.

Erlier in the sesont hey beat Republica International 13-0 but followed up by going down to an 11-0 defeat at the hands of Leeds Development and were also beaten 5-2 by Knaresborough.

In the Yorkshire Cup they went down 3-0 to Barnsley Reserves, but will now get a place in the Yorkshire Shield compeittion.

This week Keighley are again at Barnsley in the League Knockout Cup.

The club's Under-17 team open their season against Hebden Royd at Marley with a 2pm kick-off.

Silsden Ladies narrowly failed to pick up their first points of the season when they were beaten 6-4 by east Yorkshire side Preston Ladies.
