Keighley United bounced back from last week's shock defeat by Shoulder of Mutton to retain their place at the top of the table.

The young team based at Cullingworth's Fleece Inn let their inexperience show when they travelled to face Silsden Athletic and crashed to a 7-1 defeat. Earlier they had held the league leaders to a draw, but this time handed Silsden their first win in spectacular style.

Things looked to be going Fleece's way when centre forward Jamie Rowntree opened the scoring after five minutes, but their lead was short-lived and Athletic took a 3-1 lead into the break. Cullingworth pushed men forward to try to salvage the game and paid a heavy price, conceding four more goals, they couldn't find the back of the net despite hitting the crossbar. Karl Bennett was the Fleece man of the match.

New team BCA United dominated their match with Long Lee Victoria, scoring three goals in each half to pull off a 6-0 victory. Chan Miah scored a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Akhtor Ali (2) and Abdul Rohid.

Sun-Oaklee and Shoulder of Mutton shared the points in an evenly fought game. The score was locked 1-1 at the break and each team scored a further two goals in the second period. Scorers for the Sun were Audie Deare, A Jarvis and Darren Peel.

Albert's young and inexperienced side was no match for Bingley Town who found the net six times without reply. Town scorers were Stuart Hinds (2), Andy Nelson, Gavin Hammond, Jamie Butler and Ben Dunn.

Three Horses played host to Walnut FC in the West Riding County Cup and were on level terms at 1-1, before conceding three goals in the last five minutes. Anthony Godden was the scorer for Three Horses.
