Business card specialists PITS Picture Cards has announced expansion plans.
The Ilkley firm is set to grow by developing a nationwide network of agents.
The company aims to build on its solid foundations as it enters its tenth year in business.
Vernon Young, managing director of the firm, said: "PITS has achieved year-on-year growth through its success in changing the entire perception of the business card - how customers can and should adapt them for use as powerful pro-active selling and marketing tools.
"However, of the 3.7 million businesses in the country the vast majority still need educating about best use of cards.
"We have identified major expansion potential by setting up a UK-wide agency network and are looking to develop partnerships with the self-employed, semi-retired and other motivated individuals."
He added: "We have the foundation, the product and the experience. We now require agents who are dedicated team players."
The company, which counts the Red Arrows and Royal Armouries among its clients, uses an image on a business card to help people remember the individual or firm.
The name PITS arose when Mr Young went to apply for a business start up loan and was told his idea was 'pie in the sky'.
Mr Young says he will provide free examples and tips about how to generate more business from business cards on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope containing a company business card or compliments slip. Write to PITS, 34 Leeds Road, Ilkley, West Yorkshire LS29 8DS.
