Businesses in Bradford are invited to let their staff take a computer driving test.
Free training is now available for the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), which is a computer skills qualification that is recognised cont-inent-wide.
Funding to help staff improve their familiarity with information and communication technology has been made available to upgrade the area's workforce skills.
Julie Kelly, the ECDL project co-ordinator who is based at Bradford Chamber of Commerce, said:
"Many small firms in the district are already taking advantage of the free training but we want to ensure the message reaches everyone. While this training is free it is not just a standard package.
"Individuals' needs are assessed and a tailor-made solution is provided with an internationally recognised qual-ification.
"Hopefully comp-anies will acknowledge how this recognition gives credit to individual staff while also providing a company benefit in the form of better organisation and improved productivity."

The funding is from Bradford Training & Enterprise Council which is overseen by the Learning & Skills Council.
