FUNDRAISERS Neil and Carol Stronach are helping to keep the Yorkshire Air Ambulance flying.
The couple has raised £10,000 for the ambulance charity, which needs £1 million a year to keep the helicopter airborne. Each callout costs £800.
A wing of Skipton Town Hall has regularly been rented for fundraising bookstalls, bric-a-brac stalls and tombolas during the past 12 months.
Neil and Carol have also started organising musical and comedy evenings throughout the area called "An Evening with the Grays". The team is visiting various licensed premises which have room to host the entertainment, and with the help of a raffle the evenings are proving popular.
The next event is a country and western evening in the Fosters Arms at Barnoldswick on November 9.
Neil and Carol are the area co-ordinators for the Air Ambulance charity and will collect any unwanted books and bric-a-brac from your home for their stalls. They can be contacted on 01282 844086 after 6pm.
