Liversedge 2, Hatfield Main 3: First Division Hatfield Main caused an upset at Clayborn when they sent Premier Division Liversedge crashing out of the Northern Counties East League Cup despite playing most of the game with ten men.
They took an early lead in this second-round tie but then had a man sent off before Sedge turned round 2-1 up after goals from Paul Smith and Rob Dunderdale.
The second half proved to be a damp squib for the home side and the Doncaster outfit walked away with an unlikely victory. Smalley's first-half goal was added to by a match-winning double from Bradley.
"It was a bitterly disappointing night for us," said Sedge chairman Bob Gawthorpe. "We got back into it at 2-1 before half time but just stopped playing."
