Stephen Warnock could have played his last game for City after becoming the club's latest casualty.

Warnock pulled his hamstring in training which is likely to rule him out of action for up to a month.

And with only three weeks of his three-month stint to go, the midfielder will be struggling to be fit to feature for the Bantams again.

City will now consider letting Warnock return early to Liverpool for treatment, as they did with goalkeeper Steve Banks and Bolton.

Boss Nicky Law groaned: "There must be a curse on this club. All these injuries are just unbelievable.

"Hamstrings can take anything from two weeks to four to heal. This could be the end of his loan."

Warnock, who has made 12 appearances, was eager to return against Sheffield United on Saturday after missing the Nottingham Forest defeat through suspension.

He is also facing an FA disciplinary hearing after being charged with violent conduct during the Derby game.

New goalkeeper Boaz Myhill met his team-mates for the first time today when he trained with the club at Apperley Bridge.

The American-born England under-20 keeper is on a three-month loan from Aston Villa.

Myhill, 20, is likely to step straight into the side even though he has not played a senior club game.

He has been at Burnham Beeches this week as part of a get-together involving the England squad.
