A joint campaign by the Telegraph & Argus and Bradford Council in an effort to find foster homes for hundreds of boys and girls in care is already heading for success. Within an hour of the first feature appearing, the Child Care Unit at Rooley Lane, Bradford had received 17 telephone calls and by the end of the first week a total of 40 people had expressed an interest in becoming foster parents.
