Leeds United Ladies showed their class on Sunday with an emphatic 17-0 victory over Silsden Ladies in the second round of the County Cup.
Kristie Reynolds had a great game in goal for Silsden making many fine saves as Leeds dominated the first half. They were 8-0 up at half time.
To their credit Silsden refused to give up and frustrated Leeds many times with the offside trap. Silsden's best chance came with a long ball over the top to Lindsey Shuttleworth who shot wide.
Despite going down to nine players with injuries they never gave up and learned valuable lessons from the game.
Their next match is away to Thorpe United on Sunday, kick off 2.00pm.
Keighley girls saw their game called off, but they are in action against Doncaster Belles Reserves at Marley on Sunday in the quarter-final of the Yorkshire Plate.
