Oxenhope are on fire at the top of the Premier Division, and hammered home their advantage with a 6-1 victory over Intake.

They were soon making inroads in to the Colne side's defence and David Collier broke the deadlock in game which even saw goalkeeper Heath Maddocks getting his name on the scoresheet.

Recreation continued to rule the game with goals from Simon Knaggs and Paul Sewell giving them a healthy 3-0 lead at the break.

They continued to control the game in the second half and scored at regular intervals with Jonathan Broadbent scoring twice with Maddocks getting his side's fifth goal.

Embsay pulled off a shock 6-0 victory over Cross Hills who struggled to get into their rhythm despite playing at home.

The first half was a close fought contest with Embsay edging a 1-0 lead at the break, thanks to a long range goal. They dominated the second period and added five more goals as they produced some quality passing football.

The final score could have been higher, but Cross Hills keeper Jason McNulty was on form between the posts.

Bronte Wanderers slipped to a 5-2 defeat when they entertained Colne Shepherds, with Joe Booth scoring both the Bronte side's goals.

The Worth Valley team were under sustained pressure for the first 15 minutes, but managed to hit back with Booth giving them the lead half way through the opening period.

More chances were created, but a combination of good goalkeeping and poor finishing preventing them clocking up a three or four goal lead at the break.

The first five minutes of the second half were a disaster for the home side with Colne quickly equalising and before Bronte had woken up they were 3-1 down. Shepherds were not going to let their advantage slip and added two more goals before Booth got Bronte's second just before the final whistle.

Lothersdale raced to a stunning 10-1 victory over Oxenhope Reserves -- to confirm their determination to make it into the top flight.

Oxenhope were under the cosh early in the game and found themselves 4-0 down within 15 minutes. They never recovered from the early blow and the home side went on to add a fifth goal before half time.

In the second half they became totally dispirited and the strong Dale outfit stepped up the pressure to add five more goals.

Duncan Tetley saved Oxenhope from the humiliation of being 'nilled' with their only goal of the game.

Liam Jeffreys hammered in six for Lothersdale with Graig Jones adding two, and further goals came from Paul Smith and Philip Richardson.
