Sunday Alliance League: The all-Alliance outstanding second-round county cup tie between Bolton Woods and the Shoulder of Mutton has been rescheduled for tomorrow with an away date at Queen's Athletic awaiting the winners.

Former cup holders Woods look to hold all the aces, but they have been known to stumble against lower opposition and Shoulder's leading scorer Lee Grice will be looking to take advantage.

Albion Sports, who had to dig deep on Sunday in their District cup tie at Queens, play their league cup tie at West Bowling.

The Division One hopefuls were able to watch Albion last week after their match was called off and it will be a good tester for Bowling to see how far they have come.

It was quite noticeable that in the Albion v Queens tie the best two men on the field were the two veterans, Dave Morgan (Queens) and the Premier's all-time leading scorer Taj Singh.

In the league there is the clash of old rivals Oakenshaw and East Bowling Unity.

Though the meeting has now been replaced by the Unity v Albion pairing as "the match" in the Premier, the game is always competitive and Oakenshaw can be relied on to give the champions a game.

Three points for Unity will move them back into second position.
