An Addingham milkman will be sacrificing his sleep next week when he steps into the lead role in Oklahoma.
Duncan Hall, pictured, will be singing Oh What A Beautiful Mornin' for real at the Alhambra Theatre as cowboy Curly in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical.
But he'll not get home until 11pm after his stage performances. Then he'll have to drag himself out of bed just two hours later to deliver milk.
Duncan, 39, has been acting since he appeared in pantomime at Addingham Village Hall aged 14. Playing Curly in the Bradford Catholic Players production takes him on to a professional stage for the first time on Monday.
"People ask me if I practise while I am on my round," he said. "I used to sing while delivering milk but I got put off after someone told me to stop."
The show runs every night at 7.15pm until Saturday, with a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm.
