Former waitress Kirsten Louise Varley has finally landed her dream job as a supermodel - despite being kicked off a TV modelling show for partying too much.

Kirsten thought she had blown her chances when judges on Channel 4's Model Behaviour - with contracts with a top London agency for the winners - ruled she had been staying out late and getting hangovers.

Millions saw her in tears after she was told she hadn't made it to the final.

But the 5ft 11ins brunette from Keighley has been given a second chance after bosses at Select, which ran the competition, admitted: "She was too good to miss!"

She now has a diary full of bookings for magazines and has been mingling at the celebrity parties in London with the likes of Elton John and Will Young.

Kirsten, 19, said: " I am very busy - there are lots of parties at the moment and it's very hectic. But I am making sure I am not overdoing it.

"I am concentrating on my work very much at the moment. I've got a second chance.

"I was very worried when I was thrown off the show but l always believed I would make it."

So far she has been chosen for shows for international make-up giant Lancome and fashion house Morgan.

A spokeswoman for Select, which has Helena Cristiansen on its books, said: "Kirsten has all the physique - the height and the figure, but she also has a face which is both edgy and beautiful.

"She has a great career in front of her. The reasons she did not get any further was because of her antics which were not professional at the time.

"Since then she has really got her act together and work has been flooding in for her."

Kirsten won through to the final eight on Model Behaviour, which auditioned more than 10,000 men and women from around the country to find two new cover models - one male one female.

But towards the end she was dubbed the "party queen" and seen pillow fighting and moaning when asked to get up in the morning.

However when she was thrown off she vowed she would carry on.

Today she said: " I'm not going to blow it again."
