Police in the Dewsbury division, including the Spen Valley, arrested 153 people in a week.
Between January 1 and 8, one person was arrested for robbery, eight for burglary, 17 for theft, 28 for assault, 15 for criminal damage, five for theft of a motor vehicle, 11 on a warrant, five for public order offences, 11 for being drunk, two for driving while disqualified, eight for drink-driving, six for breach of bail, four for indecency, three for deception, three for drugs offences, two for possession of an offensive weapon and 24 for other offences.
