Albion Sports made it through to the last four of the West Riding County Sunday Cup but Queens Athletic will have to wait until the weekend after drawing their game.

Queens were held 1-1 by Huddersfield visitors Sikh Temple.

With a heavy ground preventing pretty football from the start, it was the Huddersfield side that went ahead in the first half.

Keeper 'Digger' Howard then kept the score down to that one goal and Queens looked to get their deserts for sticking at the task when Paul Gelder's ball over the top sent Stuart Waite through.

But a desperate tackle brought a penalty only for Waite's shot to be saved.

Sikh Temple had a player sent off and a goal disallowed before Paul Gelder drove Queens' second penalty wide.

Gelder, though, went from villain to hero when he sent the game into extra-time and earned Queens a replay.

Albion Sports had too much class for fellow Premier Side Fairweather Green. Goals from Pav Singh and Gary Shaw sealed a 2-0 win.

Fairweather had their chances and were grateful to Mark Tasker's display in preventing further Albion goals.

In the the Bradford Sunday Alliance Premier Division, Bolton Woods are the new leaders after a comprehensive 5-1 win at relegation strugglers Wrose Bull. Keeper Stuart Wilkinson joined the scorers with a penalty.

With only one win in 14 games, Bradford Moor edged nearer to Division One with a 3-0 defeat to Oakenshaw, who moved out of the bottom four to midtable.

Both clubs in second and third in the First Division put pressure on leaders Holme Wood, whose game was postponed.

Third-placed West Bowling went a goal down on the quarter against Dudley Hill Rangers but by half-time had gone 3-1 in front through Rob Sewell, Corrie Larvin and Darren Storey. Sewell was in inspirational form and he added a second after the interval as Bowling ran out 4-2 winners.

In a closer game at Pudsey, the home side beat Queensbury Reserves 1-0. Keeper Damien Clancy was outstanding for Queensbury, who looked a better side than their bottom three position suggests. Four-nil up at one stage in the first half, Hare & Hounds had two men red-carded in the second half, including the keeper but hung on to beat Westwood 5-4.

The top game in 1A was at Clayton where second-placed Orient entertained third- placed Idle and the home side's 2-0 win opened a seven-point gap between the two sides.

Orient made most of the conditions scoring through Gavin Moore and Paul Cuthbertson. There were goal chances galore at Shoulder of Mutton where the home side and Quarry could have easily both reached double figures. Shoulder went ahead through a Stuart Burgess penalty. Andy Wilson equalised in a half where Quarry hit the bar four times. A goal direct from a corner and an own goal saw Shoulder 3-1 go up. Paul Collett then pulled a goal back only for Steve Boddy to complete the scoring at 4-2. Leading 2-1 with goals from Clement Hanse and Carl Clowse Move It Removals looked set for their second win of the season until a last couple of minutes lapse saw St Pat's pinch it at 3-2.

With the four clubs below them not in action, Wyke Wanderers took their leadership in 1B to 12 points with a 4-2 win at Wibsey WMC Reserves - Wyke's 11th win in 12 matches.
