The Football Supporters Federation are today urging Bantams fans to boycott Saturday's clash with Wimbledon.

With the Dons chairman Charles Koppel moving the Division Once club to Milton Keynes, many fans have chosen instead to support newly-formed side AFC Wimbledon in the Combined Counties League.

Every set of fans whose club has been due to visit Selhurst Park this season have been petitioned to avoid coming to the games.

Meanwhile AFC Wimbledon, who share a ground with Kingstonian FC, have been getting crowds in excess of 4,000.

"The money Bradford fans pay over the gate will be used to move a team to another part of the country," said Dave Boyle, co-vice chairman of the FSF.

"Every penny that they don't get is a penny less for them to use on this scheme. The Wimbledon fans have done everything they can, but failed. The only people who can still stop this is the rest of football."

He added that any fans who had already booked travel would be welcome to attend AFC Wimbledon's fixture with Westfield and "would be guaranteed a warm welcome."

Chris Armstrong, editor of the City Gent website, said that a number of fans were planning to attend the Westfield game instead.

"It is a disgrace what they have done to that club," he said. "A lot of fans won't be going to the game and going to the other match instead.

"It seems that all football chairman are the same."
