Brian Noble today warned: Underestimate the Wolves at your peril.

Last year the Bulls were beaten 17-4 by Leeds at this stage of the Challenge Cup, coming off the back of their World Club Challenge victory over Newcastle Knights.

Skipper Robbie Paul, among others, believes the shock defeat was down to a touch of complacency after the side were crowned kings of the world just days before.

But this year all the pre-season preparation has been leading to the Challenge Cup game and under-preparation or complacency will not be on the agenda.

"If you do not prepare properly against any team at this level you will be punished," said Noble defiantly.

"All the sides that we come across are capable of hurting us and it will be a tough nut to crack."

Warrington are renowned for doing well on their own patch, known as the Zoo, and the Bulls can expect a warm reception.

"I think they call it the Zoo because of the volatile atmosphere," said Noble, who has seen the team beaten there in recent years. "We can expect a hostile reception from the fans and they are vociferous the way they play there.

"But we will be bringing two or three thousand with us and that will give the players a lift."

There will be debuts handed to Shontayne Hape and Karl Pratt for the clash, but Noble is keen to play down the hype surrounding the Bulls' two winter recruits.

"I don't want to put any pressure on anyone in the team," said Noble. "Yes, I do want to see big performances from Karl and Shontayne but I also want to see them from 15 other players.

"It is a big game on Saturday and I expect all the players to do everything they can to get the win."
