A GOAL in each half secured all three points for BCA Utd when they played host to Albert in an evenly fought contest.

New Variety Club were far too strong for Silsden Athletic, scoring five in each half. Silsden's only goal in the 10-1 defeat came in the first half. Brian Hutchinson and John Baker scored hat-tricks for the Variety Club, Adam Ackroyd scored two and Liam Jeffries also scored, but the best goal of the match was a Silsden own goal.

Keighley United eventually ran out 4-2 winners over Shoulder of Mutton, but it was a much closer contest than the score suggests. Shoulder conceded two goals in the first 15 minutes, but fought back to go in level at the break.

United scored the only goals of the second half as Shoulder paid the penalty for being without their regular keeper and three other regular players. Wilf Carter and Dave Harman scored Shoulder's goals and Colin Craven was their man of the match.
