Nicky Law today ranked City reaching First Division safety alongside winning promotion.

The Bantams pushed another point nearer the 50-mark set by the boss with Saturday's 2-2 draw at Wimbledon.

And Law insisted: "If we can maintain our status in this division it will be an equal achievement to Leicester and Portsmouth going up.

"We're still ten points clear of the relegation zone and it's looking increasingly more difficult for the teams below to catch us.

"We've got Brighton here next week and also Walsall and Sheffield Wednesday at home and we've got to make sure we don't lose those games.

"But we're on a nice little run and we'll see how far we can go. As I said to the players before the game, let's test ourselves. Wimbledon are a good side and have got a lot of young talent. They've got pace in abundance and I think it was a positive result for us."

David Wetherall was due back in training this morning while Tom Kearney has begun another week of rehab work at Lilleshall.

Kearney said: "I'm feeling good in myself and things are going along well. I'm getting stronger as the weeks go on."

Law, who has pencilled in an April return for the midfielder, added: "We've got a lot of big players to come back and if we can get some games under their belt then obviously it's going to improve our chances."
