After losing out to Albion Sports in the previous week's District Cup quarter-final, Bolton Woods gained revenge with a 3-1 win in the Bradford Sunday Alliance (Sponsored by Leisure Management) Premier Division.

The result not only dented Albion's unbeaten league record it saw Woods go three points above them at the top of the division.

Woods led from Andy Howland in the first half, Albion equalising from sub Gary Shaw before Woods won it through Dominic Quinn and sub Paul Sharpe.

Playing their first game since December 3 champions East Bowling Unity had five players making their league debut.

Two of them, Daryl Leach and Mark Betts, made the scoresheet as Unity came from 2-1 down to beat old rivals Oakenshaw 3-2. Dave Elvidge scored the winner.

A goal ten minutes from time from Danny Mullarkey enabled East Ward to gain a point in an even encounter at Calverley Victoria, who had led through Steven Bannister on 60 minutes.

Fairweather Green took the lead against Queens Athletic from the penalty spot, Lee Summerscales converting after a foul on Nick Burke.

Queens came into it in the second half when Matthew Morgan equalised before Burke's cross was put away by Adie Howard for Fairweather's winner.

Former league player Liam Robinson answered a late availability call and was Queensbury's man-of-the-match in their 3-1 win over Crown.

In Division One Queensbury Reserves proved stubborn resistance for leaders Holme Wood Athletic.

The visitors led through Paul Leadbetter for 40 minutes and affairs stood at 1-1 until, inspired by two-goal Andy Moulden, Holme Wood ran riot in the last quarter to win 6-1.

The other two clubs involved in the promotion race both won. Pudsey Royal with yet another clean sheet were 3-0 winners at Hare & Hounds, who are struggling after losing several players, while West Bowling were 5-0 winners at Chellow. Bowling strikers Chris Wood and Carl Storey shared four goals.

Lebanon international Wael Nazhal got the only goal of the game for Westwood against Stanley Road.

Normally a defender, Ian Walker enjoyed a midfield role for Dudley Hill Rangers, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over lowly Undercliffe CC.

While Baildon Trinity jumped up two places to third with a 3-2 win at Victoria Rangers, Division 1A leaders Clayton Orient had a terrible start at Idle. Three-nil down after 17 minutes Clayton pulled a goal back from Chris Lockwood to go in at 3-1 and then hit Idle with a six-goal second half to take the game 7-4.

Second-placed Waggoners stay three points behind Clayton after pushing their goal tally past 70 with a 6-1 win over Hudsons, whose consolation goal came via an Andy Tostevin penalty.

Heaton United, playing only their second game in nine weeks, tuned up for their big game with Division 1B leaders Wyke Wanderers this Sunday with a 6-0 win at Royal Clayton.

Three-nil up in 20 minutes, including two from Sajid Shah, Heaton hit three more in the second half, including a first for the club from Mazasar Iqbal.

While there was valuable points for relegation-threatened Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves in a 3-1 win at Red Lion, White Eagles turned in a four-goal second half to eclipse visitors Ventus 5-1. Youngster Jonah Sunday completed a hat-trick and there was an inspired display in midfield from newcomer Chris Walton.

A first half hat-trick from James Bell put Wibsey WMC Reserves in the driving seat at Fairweather Green Junction after Fairweather had taken the lead. A fourth goal came from Steve Ryan as Wibsey move up two places to seventh.

Wyke Wanderers, who lead the division by 12 points, made it 14 wins from 15 games with a 3-1 win over Albion Sports Reserves.

In the fourth round of the Amateur Cup Red Lion Crusaders and Baildon Trinity Athletic could not be separated at full-time, with the scores level at 3-3.

With just minutes to go in the second period of extra-time Luke Harrison netted his second of the match to put the Crusaders into the semi-finals. Eccleshill CC had an easy victory over Fountain in Division 2A with four goals from Craig Hepton (2), Adam Newsome and Deano Owczerek.

Table-toppers Bishop Rovers were 3-1 down to Fleece with ten minutes to play.

Fleece were down to ten men after an injury to Pat Crossan and Rovers capitalised by scoring two late goals to share the honours.

Ventus Sports and George drew 1-1 in their Division 2B clash, James Ramsey scoring in the first half for Ventus with the reply coming from George substitute Matthew Bird with a brilliant strike.

Harps International stay top with a convincing win over Gaping Goose. Chris Hanney and John Peacock scored two apiece for Harps in a 5-2 win.

Mark Simmons led the scoring for Oakworth Juniors with four goals as they overwhelmed Beldon Sports 9-0.

A 30-yard strike from Paul Burton of Fagley sealed three points as they beat Chellow B 4-0.

In Division 3A Hare & Hounds Reserves stay in second spot after beating Rose & Crown 2-0 with goals from Ben Gallon and Steve Midgley.

White Swan chalked up their third win of the season by beating Bankfoot Lions

3-2. White Swan's scorers were Neil Gamble, Trevor Tordoff and Andrew Garland.

Queen Hotel beat Stockbridge Victoria 3-0. Danny Phillips hit a cracking 25-yard volley for Queen and team-mates Scott Parr and Chris Hannah netted one apiece.

Nab Wood Juniors move up the table a few places after their 3-0 victory over Horton United, while Danny Robinson, Tom Wallace and Barry Morley were all on target for Farmers in their 3-3 draw with Victoria.

Silsden are still unbeaten in Division 3B after beating Albion 2-0.

Paul Lions got his hat-trick as his Eccleshill United Sunday beat Crown 5-3.

Sycamores stay top by beating Oddfellows Arms 5-1. Paul Moorhouse scored a hat-trick with one apiece from Charlie White and Lenny Worby.

Bradford Ukrainians beat George Reserves 3-1 with two goals from Nick Favel and one from Ian Knight. George replied through Philip Scardifield.

Thornton Rangers stay in third place as they beat George & Dragon 4-3.

Tuckers had an end-to-end battle with Wrose Bull Reserves in Division Four.

The deadlock was broken by David Swain of Tuckers and it was not until the 85th minute that Wrose Bull's Tony Watson headed home the equaliser as the final score ended one apiece.
