Fresh-faced popster Jamie Pearce had pupils at two Bingley schools dancing in the aisles on a whistle-stop tour to promote his new single yesterday.
The 23-year-old dropped in at Nab Wood School, Cottingley, and Beckfoot Grammar, Bingley, to perform Tabloid Queen which hits the streets on April 14.
The singer song-writer has already supported boy band Blue on their sell-out UK tour and performed alongside Britney Spears, Westlife and Tom Jones.
And he proved a big hit with the youngsters in Bingley as he sang for about 30 minutes in front of more than 150 students in the drama studio at Bankfoot.
A school spokesman said: "The event went really, really well, and he got a very good reception. The children got really involved, and we even had some dancing."
