The Bulls could be without nearly a third of their squad for Saturday's Challenge Cup quarter-final trip to Widnes.

Bradford could pay a heavy price for their 22-10 Odsal Homecoming victory over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Sunday with six players picking up injuries and another two being referred to the RFL disciplinary committee for their roles in a fracas towards the end of the game.

Paul Deacon, who was stretchered off with a head injury, is doubtful for the visit to the Halton Stadium as are Joe Vagana (hamstring), Lesley Vainikolo (dead leg) and Leon Pryce (ankle), who all limped off on Sunday.

And neither man of the match Karl Pratt nor Paul Anderson trained yesterday with neck problems.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Lowes and Stuart Fielden are both up before the authorities later today after being referred to the disciplinary committee for allegedly striking opponents during a 74th-minute brawl. Aggressive prop Michael Korkidas piled into Rob Parker and then a 15-man fracas ensued which referee Bob Connolly put on report.

Korkidas also faces the panel for an alleged high tackle.

The Bulls are definitely without long-term injury victim Jamie Peacock (broken hand) while Aussie full back Mick Withers is yet to return from groin surgery, although Robbie Paul is expected to make a return after a neck injury ruled him out of the Homecoming.

"It is like a MASH unit," said coach Brian Noble.

"A lot of these guys didn't train and will struggle to be back for Saturday."

The Bulls have a big squad with plenty of talented youngsters waiting in the wings and Noble may well need a number of them to follow in the footsteps of youngster Stuart Reardon, who successfully made the step up to Super League with an admirable debut performance on Sunday.
